Random crying

Just looking for some opinions or maybe shared experiences. Was in for check with midwives today and while I was waiting there was another person being seen in same department who collapsed. This was in a separate room down the corridor so not too close by. When the alarms went off and medics came through on way past I felt a wave of emotion and started crying randomly. Don’t know why it affected me so much but I have had similar but lesser reaction to ambulances coming past me in the past. I am at start of third trimester and have been feeling quite stressed lately but just worry that how much this affected me is abnormal as am not usually so overly emotional. Anyone else found this?

I dont think a wave of empathy and compassion is a problem. Unless it makes you adverse to returning to certain situation or you are unable to recover for a long time after, having feelings for others is good.
