Cervical prolapse after 2nd baby

Hello has anybody had experience of developing this? I have just had a chat with my physio who told me breastfeeding won’t help my prolapse. I’m gutted as I really want to bf my second baby as long as my first (2 years). Did anyone find it get better after stopping to bf? I don’t mind if it gets worse but I don’t want to do long term damage to that area as I’m only 34. Apparently hysterectomy is an option but she said it doesn’t always work :s

I dont understand how breastfeeding would have any effect, negative or positive on a prolapse? Are you sure you've picked that up right?

Yes - physio told me yesterday. It’s to do with the estrogen levels and your pelvic floor.

First I've heard of it. But my prolapse used to get worse at that time of the month, but went back to being not so bad after. Didn't notice any difference when I was breastfeeding tho.

Mine got miles better after i stopped bf.

The physio didnt tell me to stop but explained my hormones would change and this would help when i decide to stop.

The prescribed pelvic floor exerices helped too - well helped as it it wont get worse.
