How's everyone dealing with feeling really depressed and useless? I love being a mum he's only over a week old and it's the best thing to ever happen to me, my partners absolutely amazing and so are all my family and friends.. so why do I feel just so so depressed

It’s natural. If it’s mild depression it could just be the sleep deprivation and hormones/birth experience weighing on you. If it’s more pronounced the hormones still come into it but again it happens to many many mums. The

The key thing is to reach out for help when you need it. And be honest about how you feel.

I felt exactly the same, the lovely baby blues. If the feelings doesn't pass soon then it could be post natal depression, so do make sure you reach out for help. Very common.
