Trying to decide where to register for antenatal care.
Does anyone have any experience with the maternity units at these hospitals and would you recommend them? Thanks!

I have a one year old and every mum friend who had a baby at St George's had a terrible experience ☹️
I went to Kingston which was brilliant, and in the same kind of area as the ones you're looking at x

Also you should move the thread to Pregnancy, not Depression x

I had great experiences at St George's. They have the best neo natal care and babies in the area get transferred there if they need help.

I had good experiences at Epsom and Kingston, amazing staff. Less great at St Helier

I used the Kingston home birth team previously and it was such a great experience.

I'm currently pregnant with my second and it looks like I won't be able to have another home birth but we're also meant to be moving to an area not covered by Kingston.

I also don't know where to opt for between Epsom and St Peters.

I would recommend Kingston - everyone I know who has given birth there has been complimentary even when their births didn't go to plan and required neo-natal care.

No experience of the two hospitals listed I'm afraid!

Good luck!

where do you live?

Both of mine were born at Epsom and apart from one midwife was very good

Live in Carshalton, so St Helier would be closest.

Thanks, didn’t realise. Have started a new thread in Pregnancy, as can’t see an option to move it.

A few of my friends and family have had babies at St. Heiler and had bad experiences. Not sure about the other two. X
