Just that really feeling really lonely, I don’t understand because I should be really happy. I am happy but also sad at the same time, it’s all a bit hard to explain. Been bursting into tears the past few days over really silly thoughts and really don’t want baby to see me sad.

How old is baby?

Don't worry about how you 'should' feel.
I wasn't happy. I couldn't pretend.

It's tough having a baby. And being sleep deprived

She’s 14 weeks now.

You may well have post natal depression op. It's common and can build and you need to let the health visitor or doc know. Some people will dismiss it saying 'baby blues' etc but go and let a professional know you are feeling this way.

I went to the doctor and she referred me but they couldn’t accept the referral because I’m already under a mental health team however I won’t get to see them until January.
