Hi, bit late here. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, after conception. It's nothing new, esspesally the anxiety. I did not expect to feel with a planned pregnancy... I was very stubborn about medication but after a meeting with a psychiatrist have started on quetalapaine which is helping....just saying hi really. X

Hi embrace, I don't really have any knowledge of what you're experiencing, but wanted to say hi 👋🏻back and wish you well in the home stretch of your pregnancy! 🍀X

Thanks. :). I'm getting lots of support, My pregnacy seems to have lasted for ever but now it's only 10 weeks till D-day it seems to have gone so quick! Speaking to a midwife it's a very commonly prescribed medication for pregnancy anxiety now. Even though I feel better in myself and am better able to eat and rest well I'm still nervous about potential long term side effects. I know there are lots of studies I'm just taking a while to come to terms with the fact it's the right medication for me and my baby... Means I'm having less coffee and sugar which was helping with mood and the anxiety caused headakes and confusion...
