Our amazing DS is four weeks old now but DH has been feeling really down. He has always struggled with depression and anxiety but it has got worse in ways.
He says DS and I would be better off if he left because he gets panicked and doesn't have any confidence in his ability to look after DS.
I think he is sad also because he expected to be really good at baby stuff as he has always wanted to be a dad.
He is due to start counselling initiated for other reasons (been waiting ages for an appointment) but he says it hasn't helped him much in the past.
I guess I'm just wondering what I can do to help him. I tell him how good he is with DS and try to make life easy for him.
