Anyone taking lofepramine for postnatal depression

Hi, i have 5 weeks old daughter but i am struggling massively with postnatal depression. I am on lofepramine 105 mg for the last 4 weeks but havent seen any progress yet. Anyone out there please give me hopes

Not quite the same but I had it after losing a baby nearly 20 years ago. It took about 6 weeks for me to start feeling a bit of an improvement. I didn't go back to my normal happy, motivated self on it. I was quite flat until taken off it, but the lows got less and less over time until I was stable and ready to begin weaning off.

I am sorry you are having a tough time but congratulations on the birth of your wee one. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Thanks for replying. I am otherwise happy but struggling with anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Gp told me to stick with them for 6 weeks. These are quite old class of antidepressants but citalopram didnt suit me at all

They certainly worked for me, but they are not the fastest.
