Anti depressant tablets

I've just been prescribed mirtazapine (anti-depressant)
Has anyone had successful results in taking these please?
Been suffering with bad anxiety and post traumatic stress!!

I have a friend that been through every anti depressant going and this is the one that's worked best for her. However she did gain a bit of weight on it xx

Yep. I was on citraloplan when I was pregnant.. then had a massive breakdown and was prescribed mirtazapine. It stopped me jumping off a bridge.
I also took a lot of diazepam and beta blockers.
My little lady is upstairs, fine and dandy.
