I have developed Insomnia and anxiety at 29 weeks and its just terrible. I have an appt with GP and as much as I've stayed away from all medication, even panadol throughout this pregnancy, I am caving in and requesting something. I cant keep going like this.

Not sure if I will go back on antidepressents or just try something that will break this sleeping cycle and hope anxiety fixes itself with sleep?

Im so angry with myself and cant believe this has happended at week 29! I should be able to shake it but I cant.

Its been 2 days of absolute no sleep and my anxiety is through the roof. I try and sleep but within seconds I'll jolt and then wake up with heart pulpitations. Help!! Anyone else relate?

I also suffer from insomnia so can sympathise. I found Sasha Stephens' book The Effortless Sleep Method helpful. I need to reread it myself
