Fluoxetine!!! Your opinion

I have prenatal depression. I am 18 weeks pregnant. Doctor has prescribed me with 20mg Prozac and basically I'm scared.

Have you taken this AD whilst carrying and had any problems? Any feedback would be great

im TTC and on Fluoxetine and my dr said its ok but i don't know about actually being pregnant on it. sorry i can't help :(

I think that's the one I took when I was pregnant. If I remember rightly, its only danger was a tiny chance of causing heart problems in the baby. BUT I MIGHT HAVE GOT THAT WRONG.

20mg is the tiniest dose possible - do you think you could get along without it? I was on 20 or 40mg and honestly, it did very little to my symptoms. Maybe do other natural things to improve your mood (exercise, sleep, vitamins, can you take St John's Wort when pregnant?, etc) and see how that goes..?

Lizzy I was on 20mg for most of my last pregnancy. Was absolutely fine.
