Postnatal counsellors in Balham?

Hi can anyone recommend a counsellor near balham? I am feeling low but don t really want to go through the health visitor channel - i find they can be judgmental

Hi grumpy. Sorry you're feeling low, hopefully now you've recognised you want to talk to someone it is the way to feeling better. I can definitely recommend the cedar house support group. I went to the Guildford group when I had PND and it helped me so much I can't tell you. Here is their website. You can also chat to liz

Hi i'd recommend Cedar House too. It didn't get going until a while after my PND had gone but I volunteer in the creche there and it is a fantastic group. Liz is great and will be ablevto arrange one on one counselling for you too if you need it. It is Friday mornings at the church on Weir Road.

Otherwise I also recommend Elinor Bidgen who works from the Awareness Centre on Abveville Road and was who helped me loads.
