Why me ? Beautiful daughter now 1 yrs old, 3 days a week job from home, normally confident and happy now anxious and teary. IT started a month ago. I went to my drs and got anti depressants AND referred for counselling. This is Day 2 of tablets - counselling shortly - fingers crossed.xxx

Yes, PND can happen in the first two years of a baby's life.

I suppose that general depression can happen at any point in your life.

I hope you are feeling better and not suffering with side affects of ADs.

In my experience PND doesn't take into account your state of health, relationship, financial or employment status it's a tricky little thing that can strike at any time to anyone.
Good luck with the tablets & medication. I'm sure you'll start feeling better soon ( but don't let anyone rush you)

thank you all. Big note to self - 1 day at a time. Hubby struggling a bit to understand but is trying hard :) Will keep you posted x
