Just before Easter we had a leak in our bathroom which caused the ceiling in the kitchen to cave in. So we now have a hole in the ceiling about 5ftx2ft - you can see and hear into the bathroom and its driving me mad. I have asked my DH to fix it, he says he will but it hasnt been done yet.
Last week I mentioned getting someone in to sort it as I cant stand the sight of it anymore. DH got all worked up saying he enjoys DIY and would do it in his own time, but that could be bloody ages.
AIBU to ring up a handy man and get him in to fix it? DH has bought the plasterboard. I have some money to pay for it so money isnt the issue, just male pride I think.
