Is Toy Story 3 Kitchen Roll really necessary?

I get the whole merchadising bandwagon. Sweets, clothes, even Buzz Lightyear face cloths ie: kid related stuff.

But kitchen roll? really? why oh why?

I do not want to turn my kitchen into a play area/nursery, I am a grown up.

Do you think my DC's are heppu with delight if I mopped up yet another spill with plain or disney kitchen roll.

Disney have totally tipped the balance of pissing parents off with the sheer amount of movie linked crap. The movies are great we will love them and will watch them, but rein it in on all the shite FFS.

Toy Story kitchen roll is aimed at spineless types that let their children decide what goes into the shopping trolley...

carocaro · 09/07/2010 13:01

FYI - I did not get it, but there was hoo haa from DS2 aged 3.

Definitely not, but is half-price in Tesco so I bought it.

StableButDeluded · 09/07/2010 13:16

I am quite aimless and spineless but did not have DS with me, so was swayed purely by the 'half-price'label

watfordmummy · 09/07/2010 13:16

That will be me buying it then, my dss are 10 and 7 but loved toy story 1 & 2, (so did I!)

ShatnersBassoon · 09/07/2010 13:22

Same as stablebutdeluded. The kids weren't with me when I bought it. My children are easily convinced of mundane things being a brilliant treat.

DramaInPyjamas · 09/07/2010 13:22

Not necessary, but it brightens the kitchen up. And it was buy one get one free!

Firawla · 09/07/2010 13:24

I am the kind of person who would buy these things I don't see the harm in it
