My firstborn had his very first parents evening yesterday, in reception.

He got an absolutly glowing report, the tescher said he had met expectations and gone beyond in every area of learning!

She said his reading, writing and maths were all fantastic and he had grown so much in confidence (wasvery shy and sad when starting last september)

He now has masses of friends and the teacher said he really adored him and would miss him alot!

I welled up!

She also said it was nice to have suchj lovely supportive parents

Was just lovely to hear such heartfelt compliments about my son

Well done disenchanted's DS!!!

lazarusb · 08/07/2010 21:58

Well done to both of your DSs. I have been gloating since Monday when ds, who is a skinny 7 year old, got his 100m swimming certificate 'with great style and panache' according to his instructor!
