As long as it doesn't become a habit YANBU

FWIW I failed my first test too (6 minor faults and a major!) then passed my second (16 minor faults )

YABVVVVVU!

But only because I'm incredibly jealous.
Better luck next time!

TheLifeOfRiley · 07/07/2010 12:27

ha ha at it becoming a habit - I wish! Bottle of wine has been open in fridge for over a month, sometimes I will have a glass in an evening but I'm usually too knackered and follow ds to bed.

Just so I am not judged too much DS is at school and I don't intend to drink anymore today.

I got 3 minor faults and then 3 safety faults I think . Gah! I am gutted.

Sorry about the test.

YABU drinking wine that has been open for over a month. It tastea rank after about 4 days.

Jacaqueen · 07/07/2010 12:32

Tastes

TheLifeOfRiley · 07/07/2010 12:34

It was tightly corked (one of those rubber types that are indestructible and go back in the bottle, rather than actual cork) and tasted lovely.

Sorry about the test and YANBU altho surely that wine tastes VILE after so long?!

desiretochange · 07/07/2010 12:35

Bubble bath and glass of wine sounds just lovely. Enjoy it! No harm treating yourself after shitty morning

NorbertDentressangle · 07/07/2010 12:40

If I'd had a glass of wine that early I'd have to go back to bed and set the alarm for the school run

Sorry you failed your test

TheLifeOfRiley · 07/07/2010 12:48

norbert . I did lay on my bed for half an hour afterwards listening to music.

No honestly MBP it tasted lovely, wine is often in my fridge ages (I'm not a big drinker - apart from tea!), as long as it is corked properly it's fine. Red wine on the other hand needs finishing ASAP.

I am putting test result in perspective now, will just rebook and keep on with lessons, am just disappointed as was hoping the summer holidays would involve a car to take DS for days out rather than the nightmare of publce transport.

Thank you all for your support/sympathy - sometimes having no one in the house to cry on and give you a hug sucks.

Look on it as a dry run, you will pass the next one. As long as you didn't have the wine before the test! I cried like a baby when I failed my first one

cyteen · 07/07/2010 17:03

YANBU, I was gutted all day when I failed my first test. Passed second time, no problem Keep at it!
