to ask for directions to the thread I'm after

A while ago, I came across a thread for hints and tips for parenting if your upbringing wasn't that great e.g. abuse etc.

I couldn't quite face it at the time, as the thread hit me out of the blue, but I remember there being some links to some reading material and I can't remember where it was or what it was called. I figure AIBU will be the quickest way to find it again.

Might it be the stately homesthreads?

I think your best bet might be advanced search. Can you remember any keywords or the name of someone who posted on it?

how is the searching going ? you see the advanced search, purple, top'ish right of this screen ?
if you can't find it, come back and we will try and help you. give us some more clues.

The thread was not about reliving past experiencies, but more about trying to parent without your past affecting things e.g. communication

Am at work so can't spend long, will come back later.

hi boobs just read your other thread, sending some chocolate and love your way. Can't say there was anything there you should feel bad about, i.e. hen do/food/bf. Especially bf, whats the point in getting so far and then stopping for no reason. Your doing great/fabulous/thousand other amazing words
