FFS people, we are just feeding our children. Seriously, who gives a shit how you do it.
So many threads at the mo about this, tis driving me to distraction.

OP posts:
EricNorthmansmistress · 06/07/2010 22:43

don't read them? It matters to a lot of people, even if you aren't interested!

MrsHarkness · 06/07/2010 22:44

So why start another thread then

SirBoobAlot · 06/07/2010 22:44

Don't read them then

Just because its been done before doesn't mean new posters, and new parents (to be) shouldn't post about their concerns / queries.

Personally I find the whole "I'm so fed up of threads about X" much more annoying.

funnysinthegarden · 06/07/2010 22:44

ahhh easy for you to say, I am drawn to them........

OP posts:
kingnothing · 06/07/2010 22:45

because for some people, this may be the only arena where they can debate the issue, and gain some perspective from the ?other side?? there are always new mums and many of them will need advice, help or just the desire to have a conversation about it. What?s the problem!?

EricNorthmansmistress · 06/07/2010 22:45

That's your problem then, surely?

YABU

booyhoo · 06/07/2010 22:46

lots of posters have changed their whole viewpoints on the topic from reading those kinds of threads. i think they are helpful, as long as they dont turn nasty a sthey sometimes can.

coffeefestival · 06/07/2010 22:47

YABU to expect there to be no discussion on the subject. However I'd rather they were generally in the "feeding" section of the boards instead of so often in AIBU.

funnysinthegarden · 06/07/2010 22:47

but the debate goes on and on and on and no one listens or understands the others perspective. It's sooo pointless

OP posts:
runnybottom · 06/07/2010 22:48

and so is this

yawnsville.

HinnyPet · 06/07/2010 22:50

Hide it then

tethersend · 06/07/2010 22:50

Op, you probably just haven't had the right support in reading these BF/FF threads.

pastiesh · 06/07/2010 22:51

Did anyone else groan when they saw this thread title? If you?re sick of something, don?t read or comment on it!

Err... take your own advice, pastiesh...?

SparkOfSense · 06/07/2010 23:01

I agree with you, but you are not helping matters by posting this. Nor am I by commenting, for that matter.

pastiesh · 06/07/2010 23:01

I wouldn?t make a thread about another thread that I?m annoyed about. I?m not sick of it, so I felt able to comment? I groaned because I just thought it was the type of contentious thread title that would cause lots of aggression - bf/ff AND thread about a thread. I?m happy to read ?em though

funnysinthegarden · 06/07/2010 23:03

tis not a thread about a thread, tis thread in it's own right and very proud of that too........

OP posts:
pastiesh · 06/07/2010 23:06

tis a thread about so many threads, in your words. A new thing!

wastingaway · 06/07/2010 23:06

Funny, plenty of of people have stated that they've learnt a lot about other people's perspectives on this issue on past arguments threads.

I certainly have.

pastiesh · 06/07/2010 23:06

should have finished off that last comment with a so you know I?m being lighthearted. I ain?t coming across very well on MN tonight!

blueshoes · 06/07/2010 23:53

Funny, why do you suppose you are drawn to such threads?

I find it quite easy to ignore them.

WinkyWinkola · 06/07/2010 23:55

Debate is vital.

It helps people understand other people's motives.

It helps. A lot.

So stop beefing about nothing.

14hourstillbedtime · 07/07/2010 00:12

But has anyone, in the History of MN, been convinced by one of these threads to switch to The Dark Side (whichever side that may be for them?)
