DH's overbearing colleague has invited himself to stay tonight as they both have to leave early for a course. He has let up on this occasion as otherwise it'll mean a two hour round trip to collect him in the military vehicle. (Dickhead just lost his licence)

He is the most obnoxious git ever, and the last time I had to sit next to him at a function he was agreeing with the views of the Westboro baptist church. I ended up walking off in disgust, and leaving the function room.

So, AIBU not to change the sheets on the spare bed, seeing as they were only used last weekend by my DS's Gay god-daddies?

And AIBU for gaining some slight enjoyment from this....?

To make things easier for my DH, they are arriving late (I'll be in bed) and leaving at 5am for an exercise. He is a Warrant Officer and my dh is a Flight Sgt, so it's his line manager. I don't want my DH coming home at midnight and leaving 3.5 hours later to pick him up, he is shattered already from having to carry that donkey for the last two weeks.

Then, next week, when my husband hands in his ID and leaves the RAF I shall tell the twunt to jolly well jog on!

YABU to not change the sheets, even for an arse. I would strip the bed and leave fresh sheets on the bed for him to make the bed up himself though - you're not a hotel and it should make a point (although he sounds thick skinned and probably won't get it).

I have my BIL coming to stay on Friday night and one of my friends coming to stay on Saturday night. I am not changing the sheets twice so will deffo change the sheets for my friend but won't bother for my BIL. I have seen his flat, his room and his bed and I can guarantee that even if I hadn't changed the sheets for 2 months they would still be a damned site cleaner than his!

I think what the sexuality has to do with it, is the fact that the Westboro baptist church have the winning slogan "God Hates Fags". So he must be totally homophobic, or just plain weird....

I wouldn't have him in my house if I had gay family members and he felt that strongly. However I am also a Military wife and understand the blurr of the work/life balance and the ridiculous travelling expectations. Can't he organise his own transport?

itsallgoing its partly that yes. since america "allows" homosexuality to happen, all americans are going to hell. the soldiers are going over to fight on americas side, so they are also going to hell. they have placards etc saying "thank god for ieds" etc being shown at funerals.
