Vagina, anyone?

Please take a look at this photo and, if you feel it shouldn't be on view to kids, lend your support to the MN Campaign thread here

This has been bugging me since the weekend - but myself and others feel powerless to do anything.

Am I being unreasonable wanting to do something about this being on display to kids? I don't have a problem with porn, it has its place, but that place isn't on the bottom shelf, near kids magazines or sweet stands.

just post on the MN Campaign thread (and email coop if you want) so that if lots of people show their support for a campaign to get it displayed higher up, then MN might officially get behind it?

katkouta - you know what I've just looked at the bigger print I have and although it still looks to me like labia, there's a chance you are right...and if you are it's fooled 99% of people I've showed it to and my 8 yr old daughter BUT I'd not be surprised because it allows The Sport to say 'don't be silly, it's just her knickers'.

But if it is, you can't deny it's (made?) to look like labia?

We have a local shop near us (the only one in the "village") right next to a school all be it with about 10 pupils. This shop is a dirty jizzfest porn stop for pervy truckers and you really have to hunt for anything that isn't tits or kebab. I never take my kids in there, nor would I.

I made a decision not to send my son to this school but to the one in the next village which is a really nice and much bigger school. I did put on the application form one of the reasons I didn't want my son to go to the local school was "too many bare breasts and buttocks on display in the local shop for my liking"

It is her knickers - i work p/t in a newsagents.

The sport, Nuts, Zoo etc. are covered by the same legal act as page three and are not illegal and can be sold to anyone of any age (in theory - we only sell to over 16s).

The more 'porn' type mags are covered by a different act (there must be a better way of putting that).

In the shop i work in the sport is always behind the counter and has to be asked for and Zoo and Nuts are on a very high shelf. We have still had complaints from disgusted locals though and one lady threw them all on the floor.

Oh and we always return any 'porn' mags immediately - we get sent them as freebies. MILF magazine is particularly delightful....
