I'm in the same boat as southeastastra.

I hate football but I'd just worked out a plus side...we went to the zoo on Sunday. It was deserted even on the hottest day of the year. We had a lovely time

Actually wishing it was still on now after weeks of hating it!

I'm having a news and radio blackout for the next few days, then perhaps we can get back to some semblance of a normal life. I've had enough of the complete overkill by the media and general mass hysteria.

The world seems to have stopped for pretty much anything else for the last week and it's been driving me NUTS! And there are still almost two weeks to go, god help me....

why be secretive? hurrah, its over, the madness can end and I can have my turn to hog the TV until wimbledon finishes (unless it clashes with cricket - at least we won that!)
