And now they are SCREAMING along to it and whooping. DP has been down 3 times to knock, they ignored twice and opened once, he was v polite, they said they would turn down but it went up louder. Cheeky fuckers. We have a newborn dd and a toddler who will be ilup at 5:30.

AIBU to want the council noise police? We are going to ring them I think.

Go for it.

DP rang them while I was typing. Oh god it is so LOUD and so sporadic and it honestly sounds like Eurovision reject tracks. Folk-techno. They are singing and jumping. I imagine them all punching the air. Floor is shaking.

Hmm, can hear other neighbours in stair banging on the door down there and also being ignored.

I know that those neighbours complained earlier too because dp met them in the stair on one of his attempts to beg for peace.

Council noise wardens say they will be round hopefully within the hour. I'm just not convinced it will do any good, worried they will just carry on all night.

Pitying the ground floor tenant (below the noise) too as she also has a young child and is on her own and her flat is main door so she can't access our common stair to ask them to shut up face to face.
