To not want to be forced to do an 'Alpha' course just to get my child Baptised

I believe in God and have attended church all my life. So why should I have to 'prove' it in order to have my child Baptised? Surely this is between me and God - not the church?

Sorry that is potty. Circumsion is hideously painful for a baby and frankly child abuse. Its sad that as a country we don't have the guts to outlaw circumsion for fear of upsetting ethnic minorities.

Many adults who were baptised as children are baptised as adults again if that is what they want. A lot of churches that do adult baptism do not reconcise infant baptism.
