Im moving on Sunday, i still dont have the right amount of boxes i need, and i'm waiting for dp's sister to come and watch ds (said she's be here at 12.30) so i can use his buggy to get boxes back to the house as i dont have a car. I've got a mountain of things to do today and i cant do anything until she gets here.

So far i've only packed up the sitting room. is it like this for everyone when they move or am i totally disorganised? I think it could be the latter!!

it'll be ok. I've moved more times than I can count! Can do it in a day. When you get the boxes put them in the rooms and chuck stuff in , label each box with the room it belongs to and chuck it in the van.

tbh, I used bin liners as well. bin liners and boxes, lobbed stuff in and tipped it out at the other end.

The key is to keep calm, don't see it as a big deal. You are just shoving your stuff in boxes.

Absolutely, bin liners, Ikea bags etc etc...I'm the classiest mover!

Enlist family and friends to help pack. Mine were a godsend last time I moved.

Take it one box at a time.

Def label which room the stuff is going in at the other end. AND put a box with the kettle, mugs, teabags/coffee/sugar, spoon in your car after breakfast. You want to keep that baby to hand!!

Oh, put DSs favourite toy in the car too so you know where it is.

Don't forget the milk too!!!!
