to think pubic hair isn't unhygienic

I am a fan of waxing because I like it, feels clean and soft. But I only started this a couple of years ago, before it was just about removing what could be seen from the swimming suit.

Had coffee with old mate today, hadn't seen her for years, starts bitching about her SIL, obviously had a lot to vent about. SIL is in her forties and single, hardly a crime, still my friend thinks it's because she won't wax!!!!!!

Didn't say ANYTHING, as I didn't care and had to go back to work, but I can't get over the fact that she said: even if she doesn't do it in order to get some, she should at least wax for hygiene reasons".

AIBU to think that there's absolutely nothing unhygienic about leaving bodily hair where it is? And that this whole "hygiene" thing is brainwashing from waxing/shaving/lasering/whatever companies?

Mine all fell out after the birth om my daughter (now aged 11yrs), as did the hairs on my legs and arms...never really grew back, except sparsly and in patches, so I have had to embrace the whole naked look....but hate it...where can I buy a merkin?

Nature intends us to be pregnant or breast feeding pretty much our whole reproductive life so not sure period pains are a sign mother nature got it wrong.

I too have a piercing but it's not on a hairy bit!

I redub 'feminine' adverts as a gruff Yorkshire bloke:

Vagisil (vaginal itching cream) advert: 'Hast thee a flecky minge? Rub some o' this in and ye'll be reet'

Makes them more bearable.

LOL at CoinOperatedGirl

"Do you have blokes popping out in their lunch hour to but a bit of cockfresh"

I'm au natural myself, and DH seems bloody pleased to see whatever's there.

I always think it's a bit like fancy underwear - by the time men get down to your pants they don't really care what you're wearing or whether your bikini line aligns itself neatly with your knicker elastic.

My Dh gives me a shave when it gets a bit unruly ...cant be dealing with that waxing business!!
