I bought a pair of trainers the other day. I didn't pay much attention to the box or the sale sticker on it, I just looked at the price and thought it was reasonable for the trainers.

Today I spotted the sticker on the box and was a bit It says:

30% OFF!
WAS £24.99
NOW £19.99

I paid £19.99.

Me thinks I should complain...

Surely they should only let someone with some basic maths (or a calculator) do the labelling?

Are you sure it doesn't say 'up to' in tiny writing before the 30? That's how my old company got away with it

funkychunkymunky · 23/06/2010 22:23

Nope. It definitely says 30% off.
