I should be reimbursed for my council tax for educating children I'll never have and be congratulated for not adding to the population problem

Says a FB friend of a friend who gallivants all over the world with his BF and is always complaining how tired he is

Is he BU?

OP posts:
JaynieB · 22/06/2010 22:15

He's a twat.

EddieIzzardismyhero · 22/06/2010 22:15

And who is going to fund his retirement and care in old age if not the children other people have?

He's being an arse IMO .

Vallhala · 22/06/2010 22:16

Sure he should. And I should be reimbursed for my contribution to the fire service as I've never needed them.

Strange man!

And meanwhile, back in the real world...

funnysinthegarden · 22/06/2010 22:17

TWAT indeed

Gigantaur · 22/06/2010 22:17

tell him its ok, his taxes aren't being spent on education. it is being spent on waste disposal and seeing as he continues to spout such shit he is clearly making the most of it.

OrmRenewed · 22/06/2010 22:18

Be thankful he isn't going to breed.

toccatanfudge · 22/06/2010 22:18

Gigantaur that's brilliant

JaynieB · 22/06/2010 22:27

Hats off to Gigantaurs post. An ace put down!

Haliborange · 22/06/2010 22:30

Never mind funding his retirement, who does he think will be the nurses and doctors who look after him in his dotage? Other people's children, presumably, who are being educated now.

He may be a net contributor to the economy but so are lots of us who do have children. So bloody what?

TheCrackFox · 22/06/2010 22:37

I've never committed any crime. Can I have a reduction in my tax as I have never stayed in prison?

MiladyDeStillSoddingWinter · 22/06/2010 22:38

"GBF, who is going to fund your retirement and care in old age if not the children other people have?

Plenty of working adults pay "twice" for education and health care.

Is this government going to curtail your frequent holidays?"

That's what I have so far.

OP posts:
EddieIzzardismyhero · 22/06/2010 22:39

Thank you for quoting me Milady, but personally I would just tell him he's a twat!

edam · 22/06/2010 22:43

Tell him to have the snip, just to prove his commitment, and THEN pop along to the council offices and see if they are impressed.

MiladyDeStillSoddingWinter · 22/06/2010 22:51

Ah, but he's a nice if deluded, er, person.

Anyone who complains about being horribly tired when they can actually go to bed whenever they like even if it is the middle of the day with nobody to look after is a bit misguided and innocent I think.

Mind you lots of my child-free friends are always complaining about sleeplessness. Sorry, but WTF is the problem? Go to bed!

tethersend · 22/06/2010 22:51

Did he not go to school then?

Thought we paid retrospectively for our own education...

If tax worked like that, that is

MiladyDeStillSoddingWinter · 22/06/2010 22:52

Nice one

OP posts:
ivykaty44 · 22/06/2010 22:56

thank goodness he's not reproducing

LynetteScavo · 22/06/2010 23:00

He's so right..and I would like to be reimbursed for the heart by pass I'll never need.

HerBeatitude · 22/06/2010 23:03

What a wanker.

I expect the NHS should reimburse him for operations he hasn't had (yet), and the police for crimes that haven't yet been perpetrated against him, and the highways agency for roads he hasn't driven on and the dept of culture for museums he hasn't visited and local govt leisure depts for sports centres he hasn't visited... etc. etc.

Oh and yes, did he never use the schools when he was a kid? Adn does he realise that the reason he can buy stuff from people, is because they can read and function in a job, and that's because er... they went to school?

What a wanker (again).

Wanker.

Yes, it bears repeating: wanker, wanker.
