Yes a thread inspired by another thread, but really; why bother? This time, ladies and gentlemen, we're snobs. I'm sure we've been bitches and much more delightful things in recent weeks...

well I think you are all lovely

BecauseImWorthIt · 22/06/2010 22:01

The thread in question seems to have been a challenge of sorts from what I can gather - OP is counting the number of replies ...

dustycups · 22/06/2010 22:02

i dont get it either dont like us then fuck off!! you wouldnt go to a pub if you didnt like the people there!! there are plenty of parent forums out there!!

dustycups · 22/06/2010 22:04

becauseimworthit wasnt there a troll who used to count replies and claim to make money from each one!

SirBoobAlot · 22/06/2010 22:07

Making money from replies? Do tell... I would start threads with the following titles and be rolling in it:

"Mothers who FF are shit - BF is much better"
"Mothers who BF are shit - FF is much better"
"If your baby still has a bottle / isn't sleeping through / isn't doing EXACTLY what mine is doing, then you're crap"

Any other suggestions to make me a millionaire?

It can be horrible, but it's also the only messageboard that's made me piss on the sofa laughing and given me back my faith in human nature (more than once).

I've learnt of bumsex and sisterly levels of scuminess.

Raising my glass to Mumsnet , join me?

MrsChemist · 22/06/2010 22:10

"I park in parent and toddler parking spaces, even though I have no children, hahahahahahahaha!" would be a good money maker SirBoob

honeydragon · 22/06/2010 22:10

mothers who parent their children are weird ... biscuit me.

hows that boobs?

crisproll · 22/06/2010 22:15

I have just started on mumsnet and love it! I was laughing so much at the thread about Best traits! I think its great that MNetters feel so passionately about so many different things. It took me weeks to pluck up the courage to post but am so glad I did. Am a single parent and when my DS goes away for a weekend sometimes I don`t speak t anyone! MN is a bit of a lifesaver tbh!!!

SirBoobAlot · 22/06/2010 22:17

MrsChemist I would make a bloody fortune

AnyFucker · 22/06/2010 22:19

crisproll · 22/06/2010 22:22

I havent plucked up the courage to start a thread.... too nervous!!!! LOVED the thread about scumminess too. Thank God its not just me!

MrsChemist · 22/06/2010 22:25

My first thread was in AIBU. IWNBU [smug emoticon]

MrsChemist · 22/06/2010 22:27

Oh, even better would be "I park in parent and toddler parking spaces, and I have neither a child or a car. Hahahahahaha!"

SirBoobAlot · 22/06/2010 22:28

How rude of me Welcome, Crisproll! Start a thread, you never know what might happen

OP posts:
crisproll · 22/06/2010 22:36

SirBoob, what was your first time like?

SirBoobAlot · 22/06/2010 22:40

Very uncomfortable, lumpy mattress and idiot of a bloke.

Oh you mean thread?

Went down in flames if I remember correctly...

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 22/06/2010 22:44

pmsl

StealthPolarBear · 22/06/2010 22:47

Why do disabled drivers park in non-disabled spaces? If their spaces are full well that's just tough!

EvilTwins · 22/06/2010 22:50

What about
"AIBU to think that you shouldn't bother to have kids if you're not intending on devoting your life to them 24/7 like I DO?"

ChazsBarmyArmy · 22/06/2010 22:55

How about
BLW - is it OK if my 4 month old chooses chicken nuggets and a fruit shoot

ChazsBarmyArmy · 22/06/2010 22:56

p.s
I pierced their ears with a rusty needle

SirBoobAlot · 22/06/2010 23:00

Why are the disabled parking spaces always so close to the door? Its really inconvenient for me having to park so far away!

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 22/06/2010 23:05

yes I know, after all I have problems too - I have a really painful ingrowing toenail at the moment, why should I walk the length of the car park??
