Oooh I don't know just one of 'those days' probably. I have enough of them myself tbh.

Anything in particular?

ssd · 21/06/2010 21:52

I was like this last week, combination of tired kids/tired me/crap day at work/blah blah blah....

have an early night might help

bananalover · 21/06/2010 22:02

an early night in my house would consist of going to bed BEFORE the kids do.
feel like i never get a minute to myself...am typing this with ds waffling on about bloody world cup.
main thing is i am really pissed off cos dh told me to get a hobby, something ust for me to enjoy.
thought i would try gardening...dig out border, soil too hard, too many stones, kids throwing soil everywhere, etc.
dh just watching me through window and laughing, BASTARD. HE TELLS ME TO GET A HOBBY THEN TAKES THE PISS...THINK I WILL USE HIM AS FERTILISER.
seriously though, do others just get to stage where they pack a designer holdall and bugger off to a posh hotel?

I'm planning a day like that on Thursday- first day I can think of when imploding won't affect anyone/thing else. I'm bloody looking forward to it as well!
Seriously, banana- have a shower/bath, good cry/shout, go for a walk/run, just work off some off that frustration, hope you feel better soon x

Cybertrolley · 21/06/2010 22:56

Don't get mad, get even. Get a hobby that gets you out of the house whilst he looks after the children. A course or gym maybe, followed by long hot relaxing sauna? Oh and get him to pay for gardner. A good looking one.

Don't worry, we all get like this sometimes, combination of hormones, tiredness, hard work day in and day out, just try and do something, 1 thing in the day for yourself. Have a bath, with a a glass of wine, lock the door, candels, whatever small thing makes you feel better.

Here's a big hug heading your way

JaneS · 21/06/2010 23:08

Have another hug. I was feeling like this earlier and MN cheered me up ... maybe a good satisfying yell at your DP would do the trick? I think everyone is entitled to a few rants per month.

hairytriangle · 21/06/2010 23:20

Yabu. Think about people like me who may never have kids and re assess how you feel.

nagoo · 21/06/2010 23:29

You're not. Hope you had a good sleep... there have been nights when My DH and DS(3) have kissed me goodnight!

bananalover · 22/06/2010 09:11

must say after yelling at DH, glass of wine, shower and sleep...good advice, feel so much better and levelheaded again...thanx.

Cybertrolley · 23/06/2010 01:12

Glad. Another hug

Tortington · 23/06/2010 01:16

you took up doing the garden...with the kids as a hobby?

are you insane?

hobby = no kids. watch the cunt laugh then.

go get a hobby - out of the house - salsa dancing, drum lessons, guitar, knitting socks for crocodiles who gives a shit
