OMG I can not belive it. I have done nothing (except make the childrens breakfast) all morning becuase i have not been able to step away from MN...

I usualy come on for an hour or so in the afternoon when ds has his nap but today I came on straight after breakfast and have not put it down since..

The children have watched cbeebies ALL morning, are STILL in their pj's and there is a nasty smell coming from ds's nappy and yet I am still here....

MN should come with a health warning... For my childrens sake!!!!

This is why lowri turner said on the wright stuff this morning she doesn't get why parents have so much time to be on the Internet, lol
it's cos we don't bother with the housework

I'm almost in the same situation as you. Got DH and DD off to school, unloaded the dishwasher, checked my emails then MN apart from an hour when I went to do the recylcing and some shopping.

bumpsnowjustplump · 16/06/2010 11:25

I really need to change his nappy... the stench is getting really bad.. Even dd is now walking around holding her nose ..

I am glad i am not the only one, and that will be my defence when dp comes home to a messy house and no dinner!! lol

I hope you're joking about the nappy.

bumpsnowjustplump · 16/06/2010 11:38

Yes bear I changed his nappy as soon as I knew it needed changing.. however i am ashamed to say that it has only just made its way out to the wheely bin.. ...

Well, I have now also programmed the oven to come on later to start off the roast chicken, peeled the spuds and veg for dinner, and am shortly off to lunch out with friends.

My one day off a fortnight and I LOVE it.

(I did actually just sweep and vacuum and mop)

QOD i think i have now made up for my neglect of both house and children this morning....

We did picnic in the park with lots of swings etc. Then walked to the pond and fed the ducks (almost getting eaten by a killer goose ). I then took dd to her ballet lesson and cooked spag bog for all when we got back. I have also hoovered, done 4 loads of washing, cleaned the bathroom and sorted my outfit for my job interview tomorrow....

I need another pj day to get over it
