To want to take the car out and go over & run down my ex

I was sitting on the computer, at the window and I could hear a voice that I recognised. My ex, with whom I have a wonderful, kind, beautiful, caring daughter. I haven't seen him in years. He is approx 10 yards from my house, talking into his sisters garden to her little son. Our daughter is in the sitting room, watching telly. He hasn't contributed one thing to her upbringing - either in money or any other way, and has ignored her completely, as if she was a stranger, on any occasion that they happen to meet. He told me he feels nothing for her, and doesn't want to know. And here he is, the big pile of dung, cooing at another child while not even bothering his arse to knock and ask how his daughter is. So AIBU to want to go out and knock the big grin off his face(OK I wouldn't but I WANT to).

Do you live next door to his sister then?

He sounds like a total arsehat.

NicknameTaken · 15/06/2010 15:17

You would BU if you didn't want to do this.

Lonnie · 15/06/2010 15:17

yes YABU I mean what good would it do> you would get a few mins of satisfaction then police involvement a fall out with your neighbour (his sister) and a HUGE mess to clean up in your car after..

why not buy a HUGE big water pistol??? for next time

femalevictormeldrew · 15/06/2010 15:18

Yes I live accross from his sister, she is lovely and is the only one of the family that my daughter has any contact with. Not because of me, but by their own choice

Run him down.

I'll say you were with me.

Morloth · 15/06/2010 15:30

You would get bits of him stuck in the front of your car, the cleaning bill would be horrendous.

Tidey · 15/06/2010 15:32

Don't blame you at all, but don't break your car over something so insignificant. Think of everything he's missing out on by being such a massive cock.

Colliecross · 15/06/2010 15:32
  • and put something stinky in the water gun....

  • "and put something stinky in the water gun...."

Any suggestions what? Battery acid was the first thing that came to mind. Weed killer maybe.

Ouch ouch ouch Madam Meldrew.

I only meant maybe that breatheasy paint that smells so bad, or old prawn juice or something......

hellymelly · 15/06/2010 15:58

YANBU.I want to run him over now too.And our Volvo is so old a tatty that a bit of mess on it would make no difference.Do also like the idea of a water gun full of something pungent.

ChippingIn · 15/06/2010 15:58

Use his car.

No sir, honest sir; me, CoronaAndLime and femalevictormeldrew were knitting socks on Tuesday afternoon...

I can be very convincing

In all seriousness though - what a wanker - I don't understand how people can be that way with their own children
