Im meant to be going to the taste of london thing in regents park on saturday. Its all booked and paid for along with train tickets. It would propably cost me another £50 on top of what ive already paid.

DD has got bad chicken pox, im knackered, dead on my feet. Im hoping she will be able to go to her dads tomorrow afternoon, so i can go to work thur and friday.

But then, i think i should have her back here, with me on the saturday morning as we go on holiday on the monday. So, she will get two days at home, hopefully getting better before we go. Beacuse, she always comes back from her dads tired, and hes a bit worried about looking aftter her.

Plus, im so knackered, the thought of getting a train and spending the day in london.. then being tried the next day, then racing off on holidauy...

its exhuasting.

aibu to want to cancel? or am i just being a wimp and should just go?

Hi Schon, I read your other thread about chicken-pox it sounds like you've had a right mare with it.

Sounds like a lovely event but will it make you feel better or will you just worry about your DS?

Give yourself a break and I'm sure work will understand...

Bin it , bin it, bin it. No one should have to hang out with work people on a saturday. However nice they are, it's against the rules of nature.

i think im going to. I just dont want them to think im flakey.

And i was really looking forward to it, but im just pooped. Plus, with the going on holiday on monday. Im a lone parent, and im taking DD and the dog, which is fine, but its only me doing all the packing, all the driving, all the arranging etc... ill need to be ok, not knackered from london, i dont want the london trip to leave me tried that it ruins the holiday.

Plus, ill worry about DD.

Cancel. You'd only spend the day feeling shit and worrying about dd anyway.
