to wish my alarm clock had a mute button?

every day, 4.30 am, it starts yelling in my ear. NOTHING will shut it up. there is no obvious mechanism for muting it except me wearing ear plugs.

have you seen the film robots?

OP I have one too - I tried sending it back but apparently they're not accepted as you signed for it (bet you don't remember!)

have you seen those alrm clocks that run waway from you when they go off so that you can't hit the snooze button?! that would drive me insane in the morning but would be very effective

IamBatman · 15/06/2010 11:30

doh i get it now

StealthPolarBear · 15/06/2010 11:31

more annoyingly mine seems to go off at random times through the night!

kveta · 15/06/2010 12:20

yes, mine tends to go off at about 2am too, but I can hit snooze (with a boob, weirdly). at 4.30 though, it climbs on top of me, kisses me wetly, pulls my hair, and wails until I get up and play with it.

(am glad someone got the attempt at a joke, which I realise isn't very funny, but seemed it after nearly 9 months of interrupted sleep!)
