I know I am not. I just want to complain about DP's brother.

Staying at DP's parents for ten days But I am being slowly driven insane by DP's older brother, who IS SO BLOODY ANNOYING!

He is 45 and has been a smack addict for 27 years, he is foul foul foul. He comes round and begs his ill mother for money, and cries when he doesn;t get any. He asked me for £20 yesterday for some 'milk'. WHO NEEDS £20 WORTH OF MILK, YOU DAFT IDIOT.

It's like he thinks we're all imbeciles. He is meant to be on methadone but he's clearly on that and smack at the same time, he's chewing his own face off and seems to be thinner everytime I see him.. I am sick and tired of being around him. He sits next to me and farts all the time. And complains constantly. He complains he never has any money, moan moan moan.

He comes round and eats a fridge full of food, then says he is just nipping home for dinner. No, you are not going home for dinner are you knobnose, it's clear where you are going.

He's got his 20 year old son to get him a £45 phone contract
He also has a little boy, but doesn't know where he is, and clearly doesn't give two hoots.

If I have to look at this man any longer I will scream.

Phew. I feel a bit better

Blimey. I think I'm hard done by if I have to spend more than about 10 minutes with DH barmy sister.

SkipHopJump · 15/06/2010 08:18

Yes, which is why we have to be nice to him. She is so ill so she can't be upset. She really is a lovely woman and doesn't deserve it.

Oh, ick, that's horrible for all of you.

Can I admit, in a teeny tiny voice, that "20 quid for milk" made me laugh a little bit? I mean, cripes, he's had 27 years to come up with good excuses for scrounging money. Milk?

BigBadMummy · 15/06/2010 08:26

That is awful. Your poor family.

The trouble is that he is an addict. And it almost becomes an illness and all he can think about is the smack and nothing else.

He needs help.

Not saying you don't know that or haven't done anything because you all clearly have in the past and its a shame he doesnt want it or he would be clean and able to look after his DCs.

He will sell that phone before long, too.

Such a waste of a life.

SkipHopJump · 17/06/2010 21:14

Bigbadmummy, seems you have the sympathy that I now lack! It is a waste if a life. Sometimes he can be a very nice man. When off the drugs for a bit he is so helpful, dead friendly. But the drugs ruin him.

Anyway, he has now gone missing. Not sure how long he has been missing for. I don't even have sympathy for him now. I do have sympathy for DP's mum though She is so worried.

What are we meant to do now? There is no way to find him. The phone is unavailable when we call- sold? His accommodation is empty. No real sign of force. Do we just wait?

How terrible for you all, SkipHopJump, especially his mother.
I hope he turns up soon.

SkipHopJump · 17/06/2010 21:40

Me too. It's terrible really.
