Does she have kids?

Alambil · 14/06/2010 20:40

I'd put "eh? what ARE you on about?" or something

tightwad · 14/06/2010 20:41

yes,

dunno if i should ask did she mean me??

OP posts:
Ledodgy · 14/06/2010 20:41

What charity was it? I only ask because if it was a charity for people with incontinence for example then yes it could be seen as offensive. otherwise she is being rather strange.

Ledodgy · 14/06/2010 20:42

I too would enquire to find out what the hell she's on about.

AgentZigzag · 14/06/2010 20:42

If you want to know for sure you're going to have to ask I recon. Just post 'Did you mean me being offensive?' then at least you'll know.

I'm sure it's like you think and they're talking to someone else

tightwad · 14/06/2010 20:43

LOL! Dont think it was for incontinence!

as i recall she never had much time for me back then,

hate bad feeling, do you think she meant me?

OP posts:
MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 14/06/2010 20:43

Yes, ask!

southeastastra · 14/06/2010 20:44

it's funny, forget it then block them forever

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 14/06/2010 20:44

Maybe she's just a bit prudey and meant Too Much Information?

Maybe she finds wee offensive?

Agree with Lewisfans' response.

withorwithoutyou · 14/06/2010 20:45

Maybe she keeps her fb page very sanitised because of who is on there? Grandma/neices, nephews/boss etc??

And doesn't want them hearing about some stranger's wee?

hopalongdagger · 14/06/2010 20:46

Not offensive, but definitely TMI for someone you don't know well. I'd find it quite strange to have someone share that on my fb page, but I am possibly a bit of a prude!

MathsMadMummy · 14/06/2010 20:47

maybe she has a wet patch chip on her shoulder?

because she wet herself while doing said bungee thingy?

tightwad · 14/06/2010 20:48

she has a great sense of humour usually as i recall.
otherwise OBVIOUSLY i wouldnt put some thing like that on.

OP posts:
Maylee · 14/06/2010 20:49

Lol, I thought the wee joke was funny (if that helps at all....). Ask her and, if it is you she has taken offence to, then it seems a bit petty.

KickButtowski · 14/06/2010 20:51

So, someone you haven't had any contact with in years pops up on your fb page and tells you they wee a bit while jumping on their trampoline.

And you don't think that is at the very least a bit odd? If my mum was reading my fb page and saw a comment like that she would be offended. It is the kind of thing to giggle over and joke about between good friends in conversation but a completely bizarre comment to make on another person's page.

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 14/06/2010 20:53

I'm that you've announced to all her fb friends tht you wee on the trampoline!

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 14/06/2010 20:54

Still not offensive though- have you had a reply back?

grapeandlemon · 14/06/2010 20:54

I think what you wrote to someone you have recently got in contact with, on her fb wall, was really odd actually. Sorry.

Alambil · 14/06/2010 20:54

I'd have laughed too... but some people are weird!

southeastastra · 14/06/2010 20:55

hardy odd, they were discussing this on grumpy old women the other day. was hilarious!

tightwad · 14/06/2010 20:57

we have been messaging back and forth for about a year.

senses of humour failure, its not odd, its humour.

i didnt go out thinking how can i piss her off and make her gasp in horror??

hmm?
it was light hearted with NO swearing, no nastyness, jsut to say what a fantastic achievement i couldnt do it!
seriously, offensive??

OP posts:
tightwad · 14/06/2010 20:58

sent a tentative private message asking did she mean me.

OP posts:
blackflyinyourchardonnay · 14/06/2010 21:03

Hopefully she didn't, and it's a misunderstanding.
Horrible feeling when you offend without meaning to.

Kiwinyc · 14/06/2010 21:05

No, i don't think it was offensive but i suppose it might have made her look twice. She sounds like she had a sense of humour failure however.
