If it was just them involved for instance because why waste time on people who have no regard for not only their safety but that of others. Of course this hasnt actually happened but I cant help thinking like this when someone is acting like a complete dick overtaking in dangerous places etc driving way too fast.

If I'm not royalty, I'm staging a revolution.

I want a crown.

I'm not royalty, I'm protection

YABVU.

My DH WAS in a head on collision with a driver in similar circumstances to what you described. RedRedRedWine, a Renault Master Van overtook in dangerous conditions on a blind bend and went straight into DH, at a combine speed of nearly 120mph. Luckily DH was in a less than 1 year old, well built solid car with all the latest safety features.

DH rang me afterwards to tell me what happened and that he was okay (though he did suffer whiplash). My first thought? "Thank God, you're OK, DH". My second, "Is the van driver okay?" It didn't really matter at the time that the van driver was at fault - it mattered to me that he wasn't injured through his own stupidity. The immediate concerns of both DH and and the van driver was to ensure each other was okay - in fact they sat together in the van waiting for the police to arrive - as DH's airbag had gone off.

If there really was an accident I can guarantee you your first reaction will be to check that everyone involved was okay. You'd have to be a really callous person to walk away from any accident - regardless of the circumstances.

What a strange thing to be thinking about.

YABU. Whether you like it or not.

We've all had idiots on the road (was actually forced off the road by a twat in a hummer! That was terrifying in my poor little car!) And yes, I'm sure a few of us have thought in the heat of the moment that it might serve them right to crash. However I wouldn't wish a crash on anyone, and I especially wouldn't wish to drive on past while they could be dying.

I can understand where you are coming from, but the phrasing in your OP is OTT and nasty.
