If it was just them involved for instance because why waste time on people who have no regard for not only their safety but that of others. Of course this hasnt actually happened but I cant help thinking like this when someone is acting like a complete dick overtaking in dangerous places etc driving way too fast.

You think saying putting your kids in a river in jest is okay, I think saying THINKING I wouldnt stop is okay- doesnt make you right though does it?

tethersend · 13/06/2010 19:54

If you don't want your thoughts policed, don't post them on an internet forum.

jaffacake2 · 13/06/2010 19:54

I think its such a shame that people have to resort to abusive name calling on these threads. Would you speak to someone like this in a face to face discussion? If not then why on the internet?
It is a debate worth talking about, would you stop at an accident if it put yourself and children at risk of getting hurt?

tethersend · 13/06/2010 19:54

This also applies to dreams about dictators, BTW.

Tiredmumno1 · 13/06/2010 19:55

@ married.

rrw everyone does stupid things in their lives. i am in no way condoning the way people use our roads, however i think you know deep down you would stop, its just the normal human thing to do.

Oh dear oh dear yourself Greensleeves looking at the offence you have caused on your own thread....

OP posts:
RedRedWine1980 · 13/06/2010 20:00

Dont think I ever said I think its the right way- just that thats what I THINK.

Im wasting my time of course as people read what they want and it differs depending on who posts things. Slate me all you like but im human enough to acknowledge sometimes my thoughts aren't terribly kind but its my right (as anyones) to express them as it is yours to disagree. No need for name calling though whatsoever.

OP posts:
Greensleeves · 13/06/2010 20:00

offence? no, just a few loons jumping on a tired old bandwagon to try and assuage their bitterness by poking someone they perceive as a "regular"

want some ketchup for the chip on your shoulder?

I am in no way slating. it was just the title that obviously got peoples backs up thats all.

sometimes even thinking about it is just as bad, but hey ho, whats done is done.

lesson learned

Gigantaur · 13/06/2010 20:06

oh god we're going to come out with the old "if i were an oldie then i would have got a different reaction"

it's utter bollocks.

you got the reaction you got for the thinsg you posted. i have no idea whether you have been here five years or five minutes.

My former posting name was listed in most of the "mn royalty" threads and i still gota regular roasting if i posted something people didnt' like.

get over yourself.

IsGraceAvailable · 13/06/2010 20:08

What are "mn royalty" threads??

toccatanfudge · 13/06/2010 20:11

actually the reason Ihid that thread and read this one is because the other thread had a direct "thought" (jokey maybe but it was still there in black and white for me to read) written down about killing/hurting somoene.

Yours was somewhat more vague.

tethersend · 13/06/2010 20:14

Are there crowns?

And sceptres?

Gigantaur · 13/06/2010 20:19

every now and then someone will post a list of who they percieve to be the MN royalty.

uually the people they see posting most or who make them laugh/irritate t hem or whatever.

it is a load of rubbish really. but some people take it really seriously and get all offended if they are named.

but yes i have a crown, i polish it daily
