Had you agreed for her to take your ds out? Did you ask how she planned to take them all in

anonacfr · 13/06/2010 15:01

WTH?

Presumably she didn't tell you anything about it in advance. I would be fuming!

OutOutLetItAllOut · 13/06/2010 15:54

no she didnt tell me she had planned to take them all out lizs, if i had known he wouldht have been going!
she had him overnight, and was bringing him back, she said, after her dh got in from work, she called on the morning and said she was takin him to a fate with her and her kids,so i thought there was 6 of them.
BUT her oh decided to have the day off and that they would all go fate thing. one of her other kids then said they wanted their mate to go as well. so that then meant having 8 of them.
and what really really got me even more annoyed, she made MY ds sit on the floor of the car, along with the other kid that wasnt hers, so HER kids were all nicely strapped in, but the ones that she chose to take, wernt!

YANBU thats so irresponsible, i would never take a risk like that

lazarusb · 13/06/2010 18:31

OMG! I'd tell her exactly what I thought of her, she's way out of line and breaking the law!

allcriedout1 · 13/06/2010 19:00

How awful. When I gave a lift to two other children I put them in the best seats and my kids in the boot seats.

OutOutLetItAllOut · 14/06/2010 09:26

Shock

YANBU. I would be reporting her to the police. Not an overreaction imo - a few years ago there was a woman who was driving her DC and several other children after a birthday party, crashed the car and quite a few of the children were killed. She got a long prison sentence. Will try and find a link.
