Absolutely unreasonable but maybe offer to photograph it so he can see it from other angles but if he doesn't want you to then that's his choice.

If you think it looks stupid, then perhaps you should be honest. It's up to him what, if anything, he does about it of course, but you can certainly tell him how you feel.

I think you should, for his own good and that of society. Realise am complete hypocrite as just posted about DH whining that I want to grow my hair! But my hair looks good long, that's the difference

I wouldn't hold back. Men with ponytails are NOT sexy. Bald men, however, can be very sexy. Buy him some clippers and if he doesn't take the hint you'll just need to have at his barnet while he's asleep.

OH NO! How vile! I have always said to DH that he really should shave it off should bald patchyness and comb over temptation strike. FIL is only just starting to bald at 60+ and suspect he is going for a combover.
