Or would it be classed as a small amount?

£20,280 (net) for a family of four - 2 adults and 2 children under 12.

This is after small housing costs.

Just want opinions really.

"..have most children with an IQ of 100 and plenty under and 20% with special needs I am not sure anyone would accept a school is failing if those children don't get high exam results..."
True, but the few bright sparks amongst the above crowd are terribly let down by the system, as one presumes, the teaching is very much geared towards the ability of majority.

Kids at both ends of the IQ / ability spectrum are let down by non differentiated teacghing for sure. Personally I think all schools should offere differentiated teaching on a unified campus- diffentiated incvlusion, as it were. So all kids can get teh help tehy need (whetehr high IQ, lowq ability or any of a range of issues really) whilst still being able to be part of tehir community, encountert kids with other levels of ability, access facillities as needed.

It would be ahrd in village schools admittedly if small, and would mean a lot of bigger campus schools but I am OK with that.

DS3 (severe ASD) is in a school that has different absilities across the board and whilst absed in the SN section can access MS maths, IT etc. It's stunning for him, he has come on hugely 9although stillw ith obvious asd has near age appropriate academic levels0 and I am told the other kids benefit enormously from having children such as him about at breaktimes, etc. Chuck in a bit of specialism for the bright kids and IMO you have primary Utopia: and if tehy can manage it with one class per year plus KS1 / KS2 classes.......
