a good name for the new shop? Having a total mare trying to find a name for the shop - nice toys, sweets and books - lots of Peter Rabbit, trad wooden stuff etc.

Any help much appreciated!

Or something Garden (having white picket fence in window).

rewardgirl · 14/06/2010 11:57

Thanks ladies - much appreciated!!
I think I've got it down to

Treat Garden (icecream and sweets as well as toys and crafts)

Giggle Garden (having white picket fence in window etc)

Hazel Grove (which goes along Psammead's suggestion) - my last name is Haselgrove...

Votes please? Am meeting with the bank this afternoon - wish me luck!!!

I like Giggle Garden and Treat Garden, they sound more childish than Hazel Grove, so fits better I think. I also like the original idea Gigglestreet
sounds like the shop will be really nice, whereabouts is it going to be?

Psammead · 14/06/2010 16:43

I love Hazel Grove - has a really nice ring to it. It doesn't sound as childish, as Firawla said, but you can make the shop front nice and appealing to children I think it would be a winner with mums.

Good luck

Thanks for feedback!

It's going to be in SW London. I've found some really gorgeous stuff, and some fantastic organic / natural ice-cream for the "summer"....

Just waiting for de man from de bank to say yes then it's all go!

Hazel Grove...mmmmmm if I was looking through the yellow pages for a toy/childrens things shop that wouldn't leapt out at me!!!I really would think again...

rewardgirl · 15/06/2010 10:47

Good point exifehatz - hadn't thought of that - thanks!

Think I'm going to go with Treat Garden. Then I can expand to clothes etc if and when the time comes...

Thanks again! If you come into the shop, I'll make sure you don't go away empty-handed

Sorry - just read that back. I meant, you'll get a free treat, not I would pull out the hard sell on you!
