DH just rang he is not a happy bunny.
Train was pulling in at Clapham - slightly delayed so had to pull out straight away - DH ran for it, jumped as the doors were closing (not an uncommon thing to do and he didn't actually get stuck in the doors or cause them to reopen). Accidentally ran into the guard and knocked him flying. The guard then physically pushed him off the train!
He has just had to explain himself to the station supervisor which has caused him to miss another connection. The supervisor saw everything, it clearly wasn't intended maliciously! The supervisor told him he 'shouldn't have run for the train'. Seriously? In Clapham? At rush hour? Of course people run for trains!
Actually the more I rant the funnier it sounds. DH is furious....!
