But i want to see just how long (or quick) it takes HQ to delete this thread.

Im getting really bored of seeing disablist comments being left for frikking ages and yet anything sexist, racist, homophobic etc it is pulled straight away.

the comments on the FB page are some of the most offensive thinsg i have ever read and yet they are left to stand for hours.

We have journalists that crawl all over anything and having comments like that stand means that quite soon we could end up with a quote like "MNers believe that all disabled children should be killed at birth"

It is not on HQ. i am really quite upset about it

I think we should have a degree of trust in HQ though and not jump down their throats every time they don't jump to order

I have been here for four years and they haven't done anything I thought was truly immoral

greeny - i am usually behind HQ as i trust they work with our best interests at heart. but they seem to take forever and a day to get round to removing disablist comments...if they ever do!

Its not even as if they aren't aware - someone from HQ posted on the original thread about this, but only to reiterate their reasons for the campaign.

if they don't know how to manage a fb page then they shouldn't have a fb page.

But I don't believe they don't know how. I would bet money that if there were anti swmnbn posts on that page they would be gone by now.

Those posts were made hours ago. Even if mn don't have the capasity to delete what appears on their fan page they have the capasity to explain on here why they can't remove posts.

You can report the page to Facebook and I think they will then investigate and pull the page if they feel it necessary. Bit harsh though, probably best to let HQ respond to this first.

In all seriousness, a quick google tells me that she has previous (claire khaw bnp is one of Google's suggested searches!) and is trying to launch a political polling website - doesn't appear to be that successful so I suspect she needs to fill her time by being inflammatory on the internet. She was also an election agent for a BNP candidate.

Oh it's Claire bloody Khaw. She's on the Today Program FB group as well. Just ignore her, or block her on Facebook. She is occasionally entertaining in her batshit mentalness.

I note that she is 'friends' with Lynne Feathersone MP on FB. LF is a damned good egg and would be fucking mortified if her FB page was linked to this creature (naturally an MP's FB is not 'personal' in any way, but if I were her comms officer I would do something about it immediately).

Now from what I remember isn't it possible to sue a site because what is written on it by a member is pretty much the same thing as it being the sites own opinion?

Yep - at first, I thought this thread must have been a bit of a wind up? Surely no-one would be that moronic, egotistical, narrow minded, and bigoted to make such horrible comments? But after reading the fb thread and this one - she needs to be banned (and preferably arrested). Fair enough, it may take MNHQ a while to pick this one up, but when they do, they should get rid of her from both sites asap. Has anyone directly told them about this? Sorry, fairly new, so not up on how things are done!

No I think she is real - she runs a website that creates skewed survey results and a blog all about her attempts to speak truth to power are thwarted by cowards and imbeciles.

Less crazy views are best dealt with by resoned argument, but not this. Its designed to upset - the only option can be to delete imo.
