to hate the windscreen 'washers' on the North Circular

...or should I be feeling sympathetic that this is the only way they can make a living?

Am genuinely not sure how to feel. I just know that every time I approach certain spots on the South/North Circular where I know there will be families of windscreen washers, I dread getting a red light. The men are aggresive and ignore you if you indicate 'no thank you' and the women just point at their pregnant bellies and make you feel awful. And if you do cave and allow them to wash your windows, the water if filthy anyway, and you drive away feeling bulled and stupid

Honestly, this is not an immigration thread (although i realise the subjects are intertwined), I just don't know why I feel so much loathing of the whole shenanigans....

Not sure I could ever do this, but I have seen people turn on their wipers as they approach so that they can't clean....

Hate this sort of thing. I always keep my windows firmly shut and drive on.

squirt them with your washer fluid
