ok, not really i'm 30 weeks pregnant and my chasing days are gone...

stupid woman walked past me smoking today, as she got to us she put her arm down and flicked the fag ash without looking....... in my 14 month old (in buggy) dd's face!! stupid cow ignored me when i said "you just flicked that in my babys face!"

I often used to keep the raincover down on the buggy to protect the DC from such thoughtless smokers.

I used to smoke but would always move a cigerette out of childrens way when ever I passed one and if god forbid I ever did it by accident I would be mortified and would of apologised like mad.

Totally out of order yanbu. It's not hard to be aware of people around you. I am a smoker, and sometimes I smoke when I'm out but I am always aware of who is around me, I move away if there are children and god forbid if I managed to do this by accident I'd be absolutely mortified and apologising like a lunatic.
Some people are just so self involved. I was walking through town with DD a while ago and just in time grabbed a womans arm as she was about to stick her ciggarette in DD's face. She looked at me like a was a lunatic assaulting her even after she'd realised.

I've had a few near misses myself - people walking past 2 yr old dd and of course their hand and fag are at her head height.
