I'll second that oblomov, though i only eat them when dh is away at residential school as he is only allowed plain crisps due to his reaction to e numbers!!

lottiejenkins · 09/06/2010 13:16

dh ds!!! WHOOPS!!

Iklboo · 09/06/2010 13:18

Lidls cheapo snacks crisps are yummy when you're tiddly (frazzles-a-like, chipsticks-a-like, ringos-a-like and cheese wheels).

Not so yummy when sober though.

Poledra · 09/06/2010 13:19

That did make me snigger lottie! (and wonder if I could send DH to residential school for a term or so ).

Oblomov · 09/06/2010 13:23

processed maize shit ? bring it on. nutritional value of a gnat , even more yummy.

PuppyMonkey · 09/06/2010 13:39

There should be residential schools for DHs and DPs imho.

pigletmania · 09/06/2010 13:41

yum num num, no not good for dd good for me though.

starshaker · 09/06/2010 13:43

Altinkum YABVU they are too good to give to children. No reason at all that they should be anywhere near their clothes

jellybeans · 09/06/2010 13:53

nice but leave cheesy residue everywhere!

PansAndNoodles · 09/06/2010 13:54

Oh yes love a cheesy wotsit. They niff a bit though.

MathsMadMummy · 09/06/2010 13:55

I'm so cheap, I'm currently tucking into a bag of 25p Spicy Transform-a-Snacks

whoever upthread asked if 95 cal was a lot, no it isn't, compared to most bags of crisps. woo!

aquavit · 09/06/2010 14:01

definitely nbu

I do like the spicy ones too

[note to self to get multipack for two-day drive at the weekend]

ApocalypseCheese · 09/06/2010 15:43

FFS people, i've said it once and i'll say it a thousand times, the only way to eat wotsits is in a wotsit and nutella butty !! om, nom, nom.

PansAndNoodles · 09/06/2010 16:39

Wow! We are in the presence of butty royalty

Poledra · 09/06/2010 17:00

ApocalypseCheese, just how did you find that out??

RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2010 17:05

Has anyone of you Wotsit fans tried this?

Numberfour · 09/06/2010 17:25

Munching spicy NikNaks as we type so intrigued by others' tastes. IMHO;
Wotsits = good
Prawn Cocktail Skips = a fake taste sensation
Frazzles = bit sticky in your mouth...
But for the real taste sensation, Walkers' Thai Sweet Chili crisps dipped in greek yoghurt. Try it. Once you've gone Thai Sweet Chilli crisps dipped in Greek Yoghurt you won't go back (as the saying goes )

BythewayItsStillMe · 09/06/2010 17:50

I saw the title of this thread and my stomach turned.

Today I was walking through town with DS in pushchair, we were both eating a bag of M&S brand wotsits (can't remember what knock off name they call them), they were our naughty treat!
I was expecting this thread to be 'I was walking through town today and saw a woman with a child in pushchair and both of them were eating disgusting, no-nutritional-value wotsits '
So glad its not, I feel much better about scoffing them all now!

mumdrivenmad · 09/06/2010 18:36

I remember getting a multi pack of skips once, and grabbed a pack before rushing out of the door, to get in the car on the way to work. I was picking up my friend, and as I was waiting for her, I opened the packet of skips, can you imagine my shock when I ate the first one, to find that it was not prawn cocktail, but salt and vinegar. My friend said my face was such a picture, she could not help laughing. Don't get me wrong I do like salt and vinegar, but not on skips.

singsinthebath · 09/06/2010 19:54

I like the way that when you suck a cheesy wotsit, it sort of sticks to your tongue.

Ronaldinhio · 09/06/2010 19:56

lovely and the baked not fried thing makes me feel as though they are also healthy

overmydeadbody · 09/06/2010 20:01

I'm more of a quavers girl
