My parents look after my daughter 2.9 and her cousin 3 two days a week, this morning they both disappeared and came back naked, then ran around thinking it was hilarious, my dad told them both off and said they shouldn't take their clothes off?

So I innocently said my DD had been running round my garden for hours completely naked on Saturday, my mum pipes up that its unacceptable, I should be ashamed of myself as anyone could see her and what about paedophiles!! WTF! I never leave her in the garden alone, especially if she is naked. My parents have always had 'issues' with being naked and talking about sex etc, but surely this is taking it too far?

I live at the bottom of a lane, have a huge garden that yes people can see into if they walk their dogs, but she is 3 and innocent, its not like I took her out shopping in the buff??

It starts so early. DS had a few of his friends round when it was really hot and DS aged 4 was enjoying splashing around without his costume on. His friend aged 6 said that this was naughty and he should put his trunks on.

Poor children, they only get to enjoy this sort of freedom for a very short time.

YANBU when I was younger you had kids up to 4 or 5 naked on a beach, I know times have changed but only in the fact it's all over the media.She's in your garden what happened to the innocence of childhood.

YANBU, dd (3.9) and her mates have spent the majority of the summer naked so far in each others back gardens! It's a lovely natural part of childhood they should be able to enjoy it whilst they can!

Even on the slim chance there was a pedophile watching near by she's in your garden safe so what's the problem?

I'd be furious with my father if he said such a thing to my child he may have his view but your raising your DD with your views and moral code so he should be keeping his mouth shut.
