to wonder what the difference is ..

was out with my friend today and bumped into ds's friends mum who is polish ,who said hi and everything... after she had gone my friend said " another lot after our benefits" i said actually her and her partner both work (ridiculous hours!) and my friend sad " taking our jobs then"

my friend is spanish

I had that once too - my friend who is Vietnamese commented on "those bloody foreigners"...

He has lived in London since he was 3 so considers himself British. There were few of us at the time most of us of foreign origin so tbh we just had a good laugh. He still gets reminded of this on regular basis though...
