For a minute there I was worried you were one of those people who cooks with leftover wine. No such thing in my house!

Ronaldinhio · 02/06/2010 17:12

for perfect spritzers I sometimes also omit the soda

YABU, leftover wine is an abomination. Unless it's really grim stuff. Have a party and freeze what you are brought perhaps?

lol at the perfect spritzers with no soda

deaddei · 02/06/2010 18:04

I so want a glass of wine -but we have nothing in the house.

watch out as it doesn't freeze solid and ends up a bit like a slush puppy. I had a leaky bag of red wine ice cubes that dribbled out into my freezer drawer. Was very messy.

Might be best stored in a solid container.

Also if you're weaning the Annabel Karmel way your DH will pop out what he thinks is five cubes of "pear puree" which your baby will lap up.
